I started crocheting only two years back, and i must say I am really hooked.  It all started in Traralgon Neighbourhood House in 2010.  After my son started going to day care, I had some time for myself and decided to go for it.  I was a bit anxious in the first class because all the ladies in the group were way ahead of me and I was a novice.  I didnt know how to hold the crochet hook or what is a 4-ply or 8 ply etc.  But My teacher Hazel was very patient and guided me very well. 

After we came back to India, I thought of continuing to crochet/knit.  Slowly I got the patterns and started doing  it with the cotton thread I had from Australia.  Once i started looking for similar threads in Kochi, I was and I still am very disappointed to say that I dont have much choice here.  Anyway, I started crocheting with the material I got here.
